 | STOPSHOT Studio is a Private and Unitary Enterprise, set in 1997 by Iouri Goroulev, film director and cameraman. From then on, he manages the studio and works as a director and operator at the Letapis studio of the Belarusfilm national studio. STOPSHOT has released 10 documentaries that ran at the state-owned Belarus TV channels and entered international and national film festivals. | STOPSHOT is a co-organizer of SIGNIS-Belarus, the Catholic association for communications, and a co-founder of MAGNIFICAT, International Catholic festival of Christian films and TV programs, introduced in 2005. STOPSHOT operates in various fields, one of them being the compilation of the chronicles of Catholicism revival in Belarus. From 2001 on, STOPSHOT releases the video journal named CONFESSION, depicting the main events from the life of Catholic Church in Belarus. STOPSHOT keeps solid contacts with other film and TV structures acting in Belarus. STOPSHOT possesses the professional shooting equipment: — Ikegami video camera with all accessories; — high-quality sound-recording equipment (the Fostex digital tape-recorder kit); — lighting equipment of professional standard (the Dedolight light-set). That is why STOPSHOT is able to collaborate with other film and TV makers, to fulfil the most complicated creative tasks. STOPSHOT is a member of EDN (European Documentary Network), enters the pitchings done by EDN, and attempts to make some projects in cooperation with other documentary studios. |
